Steri-Soother

Our pre-sterilised soothers are free from bacteria, eliminating the need to sterilise soothers for first time use. Our Steri-Soother™ is convenient particularly when travelling and in the hospital environment. Once soother is used it must be treated as all other soothers on the market and be sterilised before all subsequent uses.

The medical grade silicone in the Steri-Soother™ has superior performance, being taste and odour-free. Silicones are more expensive than latex, but are better able to withstand the boil and cool cycle of sterilisation. Large ventilation holes in the plastic outer ring of the soother avoid skin irritation and allow air to pass freely into the baby’s mouth if the soother should ever become lodged.

Shasta Steri-Soother™ comes with a silicone orthodontic teat in sizes suitable for infants from 0-6months of age approximately. The orthodontic shaped teat is recommended by paediatricians, dentist and speech therapists as unobtrusive to the development of the gums and teeth.

Naturally all Shasta products are PVC free and comply with relevant European safety standards EN 1400. We ensure the highest quality materials are used at all times. The manufacturing process is subjected to strict inspection and continuous quality control.
